An unfinished dream is something you can become obsessed with. I create imagery that tells part of a story, like a dream or brief moment in history. My current artwork is largely inspired by Portland's early industrial architecture and strange beauty. I paint landscapes and architecture to create an altered reality that is grounded in a recognizable world. Many of my images are based on photographs. I like to work from photos and exaggerate the imagery in my paintings. I also work largely from imagination to create surreal landscapes. My current works are acrylic and oil paintings on masonite and canvas. My prints are editions of 50, giclee pigment inks on fine art paper. My work can be seen in galleries, art venues and events in Portland, the Northwest, and California.
